Social Campaign Behind the Scenes

For the launch of Dixie Ultra Moments, celebrity wedding planner David Tutera was the spokesperson for the social campaign and for POS. His party planning tips and House Party contest drove social engagement and buzz across Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. The “behind the scenes” video point of view draws the audience into the set and involves them intimately in the production, authentically highlighting the features of Ultra Moments. The launch was a win for Dixie as people across the US celebrated with style and strength.

For a set of seasonal content our team scouted the perfect location. We booked a house that featured two kitchens, a pool with a grill, on a lake, next to a park. In this setting we brought in multiple family subjects, along with David and developed content for summer through to Father’s Day. We utilized our celebrity’s time by setting up still shoots in the garage, and building a sound booth in a bedroom. Over two days we created a variety of content including video, audio, stills and product shots, maximizing the production for many seasonal social media uses.

From hosting tips to a house party contest to free product winners, Dixie Ultra Moments launched with a 360 degree social media blitz. The campaign targeted consumers as well as retail trade audiences, and David made appearances at events and even hosted a party for lucky winners.
